This place was just a proper fit for a weekend outing in Durham with definitely value for money. The room was lovely, but I found a used man's razor in the bathroom drawer which was a bit off-putting. Make sure to bring your own toiletries, as they don't have much.

I stayed for 2 nights in a spacious Large Double Room. The Italian food was incredible, especially the pasta dishes. The location is peaceful, perfect for relaxation. The chef is very talented and personable. Roscoe, the dog, added a nice touch to the experience! 🐶

What a gem! The pasta dishes were out of this world, and the chef made us feel right at home. A peaceful getaway just a hop from Durham – can't beat that! The breakfast spread was a delight, fueling us for our adventures.
Only a slight downside, the tap in our bathroom was a bit noisy, and we missed the wifi but the 4G was solid. Still, the charm and food kept us smiling.

Great spot for a getaway
Had a nice 2-night stay in a comfy double room. The place was quiet, and we loved the ample parking. The highlight was the cozy bar where we sipped some cocktails. Only bummer was the shower pressure could've been better.

The room felt like an ice planet—needed multiple layers just to stay warm. Shower temperature fluctuated, making a hot rinse feel like a gamble. Plus, breakfast tables remained dirty from the night before, and my poached egg on toast was more runny than I'd prefer. Some hooks in the bathroom could use a little TLC for better functionality.
